Warranty All products are subject to a one-year warranty against manufacturing defects.
Delivery We do not provide delivery in-house, but we would be happy to refer you to reliable local delivery companies.
Returns A valid KAYU Furniture receipt must accompany all returns. ONLY returns made within 30 days of purchase qualify for a refund. Returns made between 31-90 days after purchase date qualify for in-store credit. In-store credit is good for one year from issue date. All sales are final for sale items.
Purchase pick-up and storage Our storage space is extremely limited. For this reason, purchased items must be picked up within three weeks of the purchase date. After three weeks, customers will be charged $20 per day for storage.
Custom orders We have the ability to create custom pieces or installations. Our skilled craftsmen are able to produce just about anything a discerning customer can design. We also have the ability to produce large quantities of commercial grade furniture, perfect for restaurants, bars, or hotels. Wholesale terms & information To qualify as a KAYU Furniture wholesale customer, you must supply a valid ABN. Below are specific terms for all wholesale purchases:
Prices: All prices are quoted in AUD. Wholesale prices are subject to change after 3 months, due to currency and supply fluctuations
Custom made products: Product drawings or pictures will be provided for approval before KAYU Furniture begins production
Payment: All orders require a 50% deposit and the balance has to be paid - with a check or credit card - when merchandise arrives in our facility in Sydney
Penalties: KAYU Furniture will charge a 10% annual interest rate on all accounts 30 days past due
Discounts: We will provide our standard wholesale discount off the retail price. Further discounts are available when ordering by 20' or 40' container load
We will provide our standard designer/decorator discount off the retail price. To qualify for this discount, a copy of a valid ABN must be provided to KAYU Furniture.
The Designer/Decorator is responsible for payment of the purchases made from KAYU Furniture, not their own customer. The Designer/Decorator is not contracting with KAYU Furniture as agent for their own customer.
In addition, the Designer/Decorator will not cause to be included in the agreement between the Designer/Decorator and their clients, any Warranty beyond that which also applies to the contract for sale between KAYU Furniture and the Designer/Decorator.
